The National Gallery is one of my favorite photo locations in DC; unlike almost every museum, they don’t require photo permits. In fact, they are encouraging and supportive of photography!

My camera loves mirrors. These might be the best in DC!

I finally got this little imp to stand still for a moment ;)

...and now her grandmother is in motion.

A normal family portrait just wouldn't do for this family—just the way I like I it!

I’ve done two wedding day couples sessions at the National Gallery, and I will say that grownups tend to look at the art more than kids do!

There were a lot of great photos from this session, but I think this one is my fave. I love how everyone is packed into the elevator, and their looks at one another make the viewer's eye bounce around the photo as well.
